So it looks like Capcom finally remembered that they released RE:5 like over a year ago and got off their asses and made some new chapters as downloadable content.
That said, my partner in co-op crime no longer lives with me (a blessing and a curse) and I'd prefer running through the game the way it was intended.
So hopefully someone hears my plea and adds me on Xbox Live and wants to kill some zombies together!

Edit: nevermind, I got bored enough to run through the first downloadable episode "Lost in Nightmares" and play it myself. Anyone thinking of doing that, don't bother. I was actually left screaming "That's it?" at my TV for the next 5 minutes.
The opening cutscene I swear I've seen before, probably from RE5 or Umbrella Chronicles. So nothing new there, and that sets the tone for the next hour of gameplay.
Basically you're given a couple of door puzzles as is the typical RE fashion, wandering around the old Raccoon City mansion as per usual. But the mansion is severely reduced to 3 hallways upstairs, and a basement dungeon area. The dungeon seems promising at first until you realize that there is a total of 2 types of enemies, 1 being a trap that doesn't even really damage you unless your partner is otherwise occupied. So 1 new enemy, 7 times over and that's basically the chapter. Oh yes let's not forget the big boss battle with Wesker. Basically the exact same as when you fight him in the proper game, maybe with one new line of oh so wonderful dialogue "I can't be beaten by the likes of you!" and then when you beat him they play a FUCKING CUTSCENE THAT YOU SEE LIKE THREE TIMES IN RE5? WHAT THE FUCK
I MEAN SERIOUSLY CAPCOM I KNOW YOU'RE THE LAZIEST WHEN IT COMES TO RECYCLING SPRITES AND STORYLINES BUT THIS IS JUST INSULTING.
